Netherworld Creatures Series SERPENT© Tara J. Yurko
‘Do not distribute, sell, copy, alter, or claim the image, concept, content, or its descriptions as your own.’¤ DescriptionA demonic serpent that measures fifty feet (50’0’’) in length, with a height of nineteen feet (19’0’’) when upright. Its eyes are of a brilliant yellow colour, its eyes possessing a thin dilatable pupil. The Serpent’s scales are of an arsenic hue, the highlight reflecting a blue sheen while the shadow reflects a black sheen. Black tiger stripes line its serpentine body, running along the spine only. The Serpent possesses a sail fin along its crown and neck, biologically designed for aerodynamic purpose. The Serpent is semi-aquatic, able to swim in deep water or ferry Azriel across the ocean. The Serpent has razor-thin fangs, two elongated fangs similar to all snake species. The Serpent is non-poisonous. Strategy & StrengthsAzriel summons the Serpent when his enemy proves to be cunning, deceptive, illusionary, or agile. The Serpent possesses tremendous speed, surpassing its enemy with astounding reflexes. The Serpent is the most intelligent of the Summons, its shrewd mentality nearly on par with humans. The Serpent is a master of feints, creating an illusion that disrupts the enemy’s rhythm and timing. WeaknessesThe Serpent is a far cry from invincibility, possessing several flaws that render it useless in battle. Due to its ridiculously high level of speed and agility, the Serpent lacks brute strength and power. Any heavyweight creature can easily challenge the Serpent. The Serpent is not immune to physical attacks. It can be damaged with any weapon, and can be decapitated. The Serpent is weak to all types of magic, including White, Dark, and Elemental. As with all Summons, the Serpent is one of possibly hundreds of similar Netherworld creatures lurking in the dark realm. Azriel can summon a second Serpent if applicable, though no necessarily in the same timeframe.

Netherworld Creatures Series WYVERN© Tara J. Yurko
‘Do not distribute, sell, copy, alter, or claim the image, concept, content, or its descriptions as your own.’¤ DescriptionThe Wyvern is a miniature dragon, comparable in size and stature to a Clydesdale horse. The Wyvern has powerful hindquarters. It is twenty feet (20’0’’) in length, and stands at a height of ten feet (10’0’’). Its wingspan is twenty-three feet (23’0’’) when measuring both wings. It possesses no arms, biologically built for flying and gliding. The Wyvern’s wing shape is different from traditional dragons, biologically designed to be an aerial striker (i.e. dives at incredible speed, excellent maneuvering). Its scales are an onyx colour, and is durable, mimicking tectonic plates. The Wyvern’s tail has a curved, sickle-shaped spine; it serves no purpose, other than possibly being an aide in balance while flying and gliding. It is not able to breath fire. It is non-poisonous. The insignia on its skull is of an unknown language, no translation is available. Scholars assume it is a type of Netherworld dialect, consisting of characters instead of letters. Strategy & StrengthsAzriel summons the Serpent when his enemy proves to be sturdy, powerful, and resilient. The Wyvern is built like a tank, its physique protecting it from the brunt of the majority of attacks. The Wyvern is the most resilient and enduring of the Summons, proving to be a worthy opponent as it refuses to surrender until the bitter end. The Wyvern is a master of Earth attacks, manipulating the terrain into a living weapon. WeaknessesWhile the Wyvern is built to be physically strong, its speed and agility are left to be desired. It also lacks stamina, unable to surpass an opponent whose endurance is high. The Wyvern’s intelligence is not very high, preferring to attack first and ask questions later. The Wyvern is weak against water, frost, or White magic attacks, one attack rendering it stunned or possibly unconscious. The Wyvern’s impenetrable scales make it resistant to physical attacks. The Wyvern is an Earth element creature, therefore it is immune to fire, lightning, and earth attacks. As with all Summons, the Wyvern is one of possibly hundreds of similar Netherworld creatures lurking in the dark realm. Azriel can summon a second Wyvern if applicable, though no necessarily in the same timeframe.

Netherworld Creatures Series BLACK DOG© Tara J. Yurko
‘Do not distribute, sell, copy, alter, or claim the image, concept, content, or its descriptions as your own.’¤ DescriptionThe Black Dog is a fearsome, bloodthirsty beast that resembles a demonic wolf. It possesses a crown of spiraling sepia horns, and brilliant gold eyes. Its shoulder measures at ten feet (10’0’’) when standing on fours. Its fangs are an average size of five inches (0’5’’), with the longest canine measuring seven inches (0’7’’). Its saliva is slightly toxic, producing a festering bacteria that may prove fatal when bitten. Its fur is black, with highlights of mahogany along its spine. The Black Dog possesses an extremely violent nature, its mind attentive on consuming its enemy’s flesh. The insignia on its skull is of an unknown language, no translation is available. Scholars assume it is a type of Netherworld dialect, consisting of characters instead of letters. Strategy & StrengthsAzriel summons the Black Dog when his enemy proves to be erratic, insane, bloodthirsty and merciless. The Black Dog is a perfect killing machine, its ardent lust for flesh and blood its only focus. Its physique is muscular and lean, aiding its remarkable ability to ambush its enemy. The Black Dog possesses excellent endurance, its stamina aiding it in traversing long distances. The Black Dog is the most neurotic of the Summons, possessing the unusual ability of ‘blind rage’. Once it commences its destructive rampage, the Black Dog is unable to stop unless Azriel commands it to do so. The Black Dog is the epitome of malicious spite, wickedness and evil, and is immune to Dark magic. Azriel suspects that the Black Dog thrives on Dark magic, and the despair of others. WeaknessesThe Black Dog is a loyal Summon when it respects its Master, and views the Summoner as a dominant leader. Azriel’s Black Dog is highly disobedient, refusing the majority of Azriel’s commands unless it suits its best interests. Azriel has not harnessed the Black Dog’s vicious tendencies, terror in his heart every time he summons the terrible monster. The Black Dog’s rebelliousness can go awry, the creature attacking allies if it desires. The Black Dog is not immune to physical attacks, able to be stabbed, wounded, or slashed. Its elemental resistance is exceptional, however it is weak against Fire and White Magic. The Black Dog cannot howl to summon other wolves, dogs, or similar canine creatures. As with all Summons, the Black Dog is one of possibly hundreds of similar Netherworld creatures lurking in the dark realm. Azriel can summon a second Black Dog if applicable, though no necessarily in the same timeframe.

Netherworld Creatures Series UNDEAD DRAGON© Tara J. Yurko
‘Do not distribute, sell, copy, alter, or claim the image, concept, content, or its descriptions as your own.’¤ DescriptionThe Undead Dragon is a type of skeletal creature, its entire stature consisting of vertebrae and bone. It measures eighty feet (80’0’’) in length, and a height of thirty-five feet (35’0’’) when poised. Its skull has an exposed tongue that runs from underneath its spinal cord through the gap in the lower mandible. Its teeth are straight, with no serration or curvature. The Undead Dragon’s bone density is incredibly dense, aiding protection from physical attacks and certain magical and elemental afflictions. It is non-poisonous. Strategy & StrengthsAzriel summons the Undead Dragon as an absolute last resort, especially if there are hundreds of enemies or incredibly powerful wizards with legendary skill. The Undead Dragon is immune to physical attacks, as swords are unable to scratch the solid bone. It is resistant to water and wind attacks, the damage incredibly minimal. The Undead Dragon’s strength is legendary, one swipe of its massive maw annihilating battalions and leaving nothing except barren earth. The Undead Dragon is the strongest of all the Summons, its battle tactic focused on obliteration. WeaknessesThe Undead Dragon borders on a transcendent status, its power rivaling the gods from whence it was created. Azriel is unable to harness the Undead Dragon’s magnificence, failing to control its vicious rage. Throughout history, no one has been able to render the Undead Dragon as the perfect servant. The Undead Dragon’s speed is horrendous, a result of its massive stature. The Undead Dragon is weak against fire, frost, lightning and White magic, the damage rendering it into ash. As with all Summons, the Undead Dragon is one of possibly hundreds of similar Netherworld creatures lurking in the dark realm. Azriel can summon a second Undead Dragon if applicable, though no necessarily in the same timeframe.
